I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA #128810, PA #MF001658) specializing in working with individual adults, teens, and couples. After working in a corporate environment for nearly 10 years, I changed careers to become a helping professional.
I specialize in working with trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, perinatal and postpartum mental health, life transitions and stressors, and intimate relationship challenges. I am trained in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and in the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM). I am a LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist with extensive experience working with LGBTQIA+-identifying individuals.
My integrative approach is grounded in the client-therapist relationship and combines Relational Gestalt Therapy with IFS, body-centered and mindfulness interventions. My therapeutic style is attentive, inviting, compassionate and patient. I bring my own vulnerability, authenticity and transparency into the room while also incorporating humor into my work because I believe laughter can help heal.
I received my Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Michigan.
